Here are some of the over 30 large Aloe Vera’s donated by Alan from Long Beach. He read about us in the 6-8-09 OC Weekly and didn’t want these beautiful aloes any more so he contacted us to pick them up. Thanks Alan!! On the way over to Alan house I found another site in Long Beach not far from his house that we will be working this fall. I’ll be posting a date and time much a later this year, after the heat of summer is gone.

Over the years many people have donated hundreds of plants to SoCal Guerrilla Gardening which we used to fill our gardens. We gladly accept donations of plants. If you have plants you would like to donate to SoCal Guerrilla Gardening email me with the info on the plants and we’ll work out the details. If you would like to donate money –email me and I’ll let you know how to get it to us. Sorry we are NOT a non profit (not yet!) so your donations are not tax deductible. If you donate money it will go 100% to buying plants, tools, or gardening supplies for future guerrilla gardening projects.
Two of the many Aloes that Hank donated to SoCal Guerrilla Gardening. Some, of about a dozen he donated, of these beautiful unidentified Aloe are already in guerrilla gardens like the Sunset and Wilton garden. These seem to flower forever taking months from first flower, on the stem, until the last.

This is the latest donation of plants dropped of by mystery agent Bonnie. I’ve only exchanged email with Bonnie so I’ve never actually met her but she’s dropped of several truck loads of plants. The first was over 200 Aloe nobilis, the second was over 100 aloe arborensis, and she just left another 100 A. arborensis as well as the flats of various Aloes and Agaves. Thanks Bonnie!!!!!!!!!
