Two new spots for guerrilla gardening – with permits?

After loosing two guerrilla gardens to the city of Los Angeles this spring I’ve decided to get permits for these two new spots. OK, so it’s not very guerrilla but twice the city has removed gardens and then came in and put in a watering system. If we work with through the cites adopt a spot and adopt a median programs I think we can put in great gardens and get the city to supply the means for a drip watering system. So here are two new spots in LA. the top one is on Santa Monica east of Bundy, where Ohio runs into Santa Monica Blvd. The other spot for a new guerrilla garden is nice big spot at 8th and Valencia Blvd. I’m applying for adopt a spot permits for both these site and trying to get water to the sites before we start the gardening. If we get the water turned on we will get going as soon as I get the paper work (wow! that sounds really weird) If there’s not going to be water we will probably wait until the fall to put these gardens in. Both these spots are large and I can’t wait to get planting what are going to be unbelievable gardens.

Wow. These will make for amazing gardens. Keep us posted so we can pitch (fork) in.
